Therapists working with LGBTQ+ clients face ethical and clinical complexities, and this course helps you handle them. We examine core ethical issues, including informed consent, confidentiality and implicit bias, and stress affirming, inclusive care. You will build understanding of the mental health challenges LGBTQ+ clients often meet, such as minority stress, discrimination and identity exploration. Case studies, discussion and practical strategies show how to create a safe, supportive space that builds resilience and well-being. By the end, you will feel more sure of how to combine ethical best practices with culturally responsive care.
