Objective #1: Differentiate between ADHD symptomatology and co-occurring conditions to improve diagnostic clarity.
- Explore differential diagnosis of ADHD vs. trauma, anxiety, depression, and learning disorders.
- Identify overlapping conditions such as sensory disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use.
- Learn when to adjust or refine diagnosis as clinical information emerges.
Objective #2: Implement advanced intervention strategies targeting executive dysfunction and emotional dysregulation.
- Apply DBT-informed interventions for impulse control and distress tolerance.
- Use scaffolding, contracts, and body doubling to address executive function challenges.
