Pronouns are important for conveying vital parts of our colorful identities. We actively use pronouns daily but may not think about their meaning in each instance. This training equips mental health professionals with the knowledge and skills to provide affirming and respectful care to transgender and gender non-conforming clients. We delve into the importance of accurate pronoun usage as a cornerstone of building trust and rapport. This course will explore the nuances of gender identity and expression, the impact of misgendering, and practical strategies for incorporating correct pronoun usage into your therapeutic practice. Enhance your competence and create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all clients.
