Supervisors in clinical settings help determine who the next mental health professionals will be. How we relate to supervisees shapes their growth and, indirectly, the quality of client care. Adopting Relational Cultural Supervision can make our supervision more genuine, empathic and responsive to culture. We cover RCT’s central ideas and how they work in supervision, along with ways to build connection, address power and encourage vulnerability and growth. Interactive exercises and discussion give you a chance to apply these ideas to real supervision challenges.
