Clinicians in this two-hour workshop get practical, hands-on interventions for working with clients’ inner child parts. After an overview of inner child work, participants learn five adaptable techniques for guiding clients to heal childhood wounds and integrate fragmented parts of the psyche, which supports emotional growth and self-compassion. The training blends Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and expressive arts into approaches licensed clinicians can use right away. With playfulness, compassion and creativity, the techniques help clients address past trauma and build adaptive beliefs and emotional regulation today. Participants reflect on their own experience and practice through demonstrations, exercises and interactive discussion.
