Psychotherapists who want to bring Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT, or “tapping”) into work with clients living with persistent pain will find this webinar hands-on. EFT comes from energy psychology and mind-body healing, and this evidence-based method pairs stimulation of acupressure points with cognitive and emotional work to lessen pain and distress. The session reviews the research behind EFT, how it applies to chronic pain, and ways to address the emotional factors that tend to make physical discomfort worse. Guided practice and discussion give you skills to help clients break the pain cycle, settle the nervous system and feel better overall.
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to
- Identify the components of Emotional Freedom Technique

- Apply EFT to the emotional components of chronic pain
