In clinical supervision, “clinical documentation” refers to the written record kept by a supervisor detailing the discussions, observations, feedback, and action plans that occur during supervision sessions with a supervisee, essentially documenting the progress and development of the trainee’s clinical practice; it includes key points discussed, recommendations given by the supervisor, and actions taken by the supervisee to ensure accountability and quality of care. Clinical document in clinical supervision is critical for maintaining accountability, supporting supervisee growth, and ensuring ethical practice. This 2-hour workshop is designed to equip clinical supervisors with essential skills and knowledge for effective documentation in clinical supervision. This training is designed for both novice and experienced clinical supervisors across various mental health disciplines.
