Clinical supervision in social work and mental health is when a supervisor helps social workers and counselors develop their skills and practice. The goal is to protect clients and ensure high-quality services. This live webinar reviews nine models of supervision, guidance in determining a theory-based supervision approach, and an overview of the effectiveness of using a variety of methods and techniques in supervision. The visual, auditory, reader/writer, and kinesthetic or VARK Questionnaire is reviewed to assists supervisors to assess for supervisee’s learning styles.
