This is an experiential webinar for exploring the power of ritual as a transformative tool in clinical practice. This training will examine how intentional, symbolic actions can help clients navigate transitions, release emotional burdens, and reinforce personal growth. You will learn how to co-create personalized rituals tailored to clients’ cultural backgrounds, beliefs, and therapeutic goals, integrating elements such as storytelling, movement, objects, and mindfulness. Through hands-on exercises, case discussions, and ethical considerations, you will leave with practical strategies for incorporating therapeutic rituals to deepen meaning, enhance healing, and support lasting change.

Introduction

- Differentiating between routine, habit, and intentional ritual

- Rituals as nervous system regulators (safety, grounding, and embodiment)
- Rituals as narrative interventions (reframing and reauthoring experiences)
Objective #3: Apply ritual creation to various clinical issues
