Introduction
Objective #1:Define and determine the differences between administrative and clinical supervision roles.
- Define clinical supervision.
- Define administrative supervision.
- Identify the do’s and don’ts of both.
Objective #2: Learn how to effectively conduct assessments – Self-Assessment and Supervisee Assessment to inform professional goals.
- Discuss the “why” of conducting a Supervisee Assessment.
- Name the important elements of a Supervisee Assessment.
- Discuss the importance of supervisee Self-Assessment.
Objective #3:Examine and process stumbling blocks identified through the assessment process.
- Identify stumbling blocks.
- Distinguish the stumbling blocks as viewed by the supervisee and supervisor.
- Apply the knowledge to a case.
Objective #4: Review and address supervisee burnout, cultural competence, transference, and countertransference via case studies and videos.
